What is the Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition?

The GR Supra isn’t a stranger to most car enthusiasts, and it shows the brand’s commitment to performance cars and the drivers who love them. This sports car is track-tested and street-ready, bringing some serious heat to the drive. The MkV Final Edition combines an unmistakable exterior design with engineering excellence, innovation, and insights that make it a fitting swan song to this returned generation.

For this special version of the Supra the car has optimized tuning, improved braking, and incredible chassis and suspension upgrades. The 3.0 and 3.0 Premium Grade models are available as part of what buyers can choose for this car. Every version is powered by the venerable 3.0-liter turbocharged engine mated to either a manual or automatic transmission. This setup gives you 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque.

What is the Toyota GR86 Yuzu Special Edition?

If you want to see the Toyota sports car lineup get brighter, look no further than the GR86 Yuzu Special Edition, which showed up at the Grand Prix of Long Beach in vibrant Yuzu Yellow. This look is meant to honor the special edition that was created of the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0.

To complement the yellow exterior paint, the special GR86 features matte black wheels and a yellow and black interior package. There’s also a performance package that gives this car an amazing look and feel.

The new Yuzu Special Edition car will arrive as part of the 2026 lineup for this small and fun sports car, giving the brand something amazing to enjoy. This special model has the same, traditional powertrain that’s become enjoyable in the GR86, which is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and the choice of either a manual or automatic transmission. This powertrain makes 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

What else was on display?

The two sports cars weren’t the only vehicles on display during the NYC Auto Show in the Toyota booth. The display features many other vehicles from the brand, some of which are special-edition models:

Toyota 4Runner Landia

The 4Runner is well-known for being a great off-road SUV, and this new model that was on display in New York shows the blending of off-road adventures with the dream of owning land. This blend was due to the contest that had a special price: an all-new 4Runner, and a piece of land.

The outdoors is brought into the vehicle with an interpretation of the imagination of Danny Cortes, a Brooklyn-based artist. This display, presented inside the trunk area of the 4Runner gave show attendees the ability to see what their ultimate adventure, and what that looks like whether driving off-road, hiking, or camping.

Other Toyota vehicles

Toyota brought some more traditional models to the show as well, giving show attendees the chance to see some of these new models. Some of them included the new 2025 Grand Highlander and Camry vehicles. The Camry midsize sedan has gone all-hybrid for 2025, and that is a big part of the interest in a car that wouldn’t normally be a showstopper in New York. The Toyota Grand Highlander is in its second year of existence, which means many drivers haven’t gotten a chance to see or experience this new SUV yet.

Whether it is part of the celebration of the nearing of production ending for the Toyota GR Supra, or the bright yellow of the special GR86, or something interesting from the 4Runner, Grand Highlander, or Camry, Toyota was on display at the NYC Auto Show with several great vehicles offering the attendees a special look at what the brand had for them going forward. Will any of these vehicles make it to your driveway?
