It’s not dead yet! This statement of excitement is bad when trying to kill a spider or cockroach but wonderful when used for the Jeep Wrangler 392.
That’s right, the Jeep Wrangler 392, with its massive Hemi V8 engine, will stick around for at least one more year. Just when you thought all Hemi V8s were gone from the Jeep world, one finds a way to stick around. This version of the Wrangler remains for the 2025 model year. This could mean only one more year, especially since this Wrangler is called the Final Edition model, but something could persuade Stellantis to keep the 392 going for longer.
Will some owners be upset?
Not long ago, in fact only a few short months ago, the Final Edition models of the 392 came out for the 2024 model year. This was supposed to be a limited run model with only 3,700 versions built. The six-figure price tag attached to this Wrangler means current owners could be a bit upset that Jeep is continuing this Hemi-powered Wrangler. Those 3,700 models will become saturated with the new 2025 versions. Still, if this Wrangler is being used right, most owners won’t care.
Some features push the price upward
When you spend more than $100,000 on an off-road SUV, it’s not time to nickel-and-dime the rest of it. Many of the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition models made for 2024 were purchased with some special features. Some of these features include:
- Half-inch suspension lift
- Unique three-loop grille guard
- Warn winch
- Bespoke 83-piece tool set
- Leather seats with “Mayan Gold and Tupelo accents”
- Special edition badges
Most of these upgrades will also make it to the 2025 version, except for the grille guard and tool set. These two small changes won’t make much difference to most owners.
How much power does this Wrangler produce?
The Wrangler 392 takes the impressive off-road features of the Wrangler Rubicon and adds the impressive power of the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that was part of the Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack and SRT 392 models. This impressive naturally aspirated V8 engine is a welcome change from the forced induction that makes up most of the automotive world. This incredible engine pumps out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission with 4WD. This impressive Jeep makes full use of its power with a set of Dana 44 axles, electronic locking differentials, and a front sway bar disconnect.
The Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition sits 11.6 inches off the ground, which is two inches higher than the standard Rubicon model. This high-powered Wrangler can hit 60 mph in four seconds, which makes it pretty quick and impressive.
What else do you get in this Jeep?
Because the 392 model is based on the Rubicon version, you should know what the Rubicon trim has to offer that makes this an impressive off-road SUV. This means you’ll enjoy the benefits of:
- Beefed-up suspension
- Unique 4WD system
- Dana 44 front and rear axles
- 4.10:1 rear axle ratio
- Electronic front sway bar disconnect
- Rock-Trac part-time transfer case
- Jeep’s Tru-Lok front and rear differentials
- Off-Road+ mode for high and low-speed off-roading
- Trailer Tow Package

- LED headlights and fog lights
- SiriusXM satellite radio
- Steel Bumper and Winch Group
- 12-way power-adjustable front seats
- Nappa leather upholstery

The Jeep Wrangler 392 model adds to the mix with:
- Selec-Track 2.72:1 full-time 4WD

- 2-mode dual exhaust
- Red Nappa leather seat upholstery
