The SEMA show recently took place in Las Vegas, showcasing every aftermarket auto part you can imagine. Nissan was at the show making the most of aftermarket NISMO parts to create some interesting concept vehicles that we may dream about seeing at a Nissan dealership, but chances are they will stay in concept mode.
Take a look at how Nissan took the Rogue, Frontier, and Sentra to new driving and off-roading levels.
The 2024 Nissan Rogue Concept Transforms from Highway Driver of Off-Road Challenger
The regular Nissan Rogue is a family-friendly crossover SUV that comfortably takes you around town and up and down the highway. The 2024 Nissan Rogue concept transforms the regular Rogue into an off-road beast that can tackle the most challenging terrain. Imagine seeing a Rogue at your Nissan dealership with the ride height jacked up far enough to drive over large boulders and mud-terrain tires.
The exterior design is just as rugged as the equipment, with a color scheme of tan and brown and a topographical design painted right on the sides. Six fog lights are mounted on the front, and side rock rails along with carbon-fiber fender flares complete the exterior design.
The 2024 Nissan Sentra Is a Modern-Day NISMO Machine
The regular Nissan Sentra NISMO may have been discontinued in 2019, but the concept is alive and well at SEMA. It makes the most of a bunch of NISMO prototype parts, along with a modified powertrain that works with a six-speed manual transmission. This Sentra will grab your attention with heat extractors mounted to the hood. Under the hood, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is souped up with a turbocharger and stronger r components to increase the horsepower well above the 149 horses the regular Sentra engine produces.
Off-Road Racing in a Frontier Concept
The Nissan Frontier pickup truck that you’ll find on a Nissan dealership lot is strong, capable, and versatile, but the one at SEMA is a racing rig that is more than just a concept; it actually competed in an off-road race. It’s equipped with black beadlock NISMO wheels and has Yokohama Geolander mud-terrain tires. The truck sits up high with a lifted and upgraded suspension.
If you want to upgrade your Frontier, you can recreate some of the looks with parts such as the rock sliders, light bar, and the adventure-ready roof rack from the NISMO catalog.
The Nissan Z Is Ready for a Rally
The Nissan Z also made an appearance at the SEMA show. The Safari Rally Z Tribute is ready to rally as a tribute to the Datsun 240Z that ran the 3800-mile East African Safari Rally in 1971. The Tribute Z sits up two inches higher than the standard Nissan Z, and it rides on NISMO 17-inch wheels with Yokohama Geolander M/T tires. A row of LED headlights provides plenty of light for extra visibility outside, while inside, a roll bar and four-point harness keep the driver in place.
