Nissan Teams Up With Wallbox For Home Charging

Nissan Wallbox Home EV Charger

Like many other automakers, Nissan is working to promote its EV models and make it easier and more convenient for people to buy Nissan cars online. The Nissan LEAF is the flagship model when it comes to all-electric mobility. Now, Nissan is focusing on providing better charging solutions for its customers. By teaming up with Wallbox, a leading provider in that area, Nissan hopes to offer drivers an easy one-stop choice for home charging.

Introducing the Wallbox Pulsar Plus

Beginning in early July, you will be able to find and buy the new Wallbox Pulsar Plus level 2 home charger for your Nissan EV. You can even schedule installation by using the Nissan USA website, which is also where you would start the process to buy a Nissan online. The goal is to streamline the process for both new and experienced EV drivers. Nissan will even offer a rebate for the charger and installation of the charger if you buy through this program.

The Pulsar Plus charger is Wallbox’s best-selling charger and it is also one of the smallest smart EV chargers with universal compatibility in North America. It can be installed just about anywhere, including single-family homes, apartments, and various multi-unit structures. Wallbox hopes to make EV models easier and more accessible for everyone to own, and this charger is a step in the right direction. More people can switch to EV models when buying and installing a home charger is simple and affordable.

Nissan EV Models

Currently, Nissan offers two EV models. The Nissan LEAF is the longest-running model and it offers a refreshed design for 2023. New features for the LEAF include a refreshed exterior with revised headlights and new five-spoke, 17-inch wheels. Inside, you’ll find new badging on the steering wheel and black cloth upholstery for all trims. The 2023 LEAF can comfortably seat five people and features a 60/40 fold-down rear seat if you need extra room.

The other Nissan EV model is the new Ariya crossover, which is expected to hit the market this fall. The Ariya is expected to have a range of about 300 miles for the Venture+ model. This is Nissan’s first new EV model since the LEAF was introduced over a decade ago. Four Ariya models are currently available for reservations.

Streamlined Buying Process

Nissan has streamlined the process for buying a vehicle online. You can shop, drive, and buy a new or used Nissan from the comfort of your home. This program is available online with participating dealers. You can get started by going to the Nissan USA website and finding the Nissan @ Home portal. The portal will show you how to shop, buy, drive, and even service at home.

As more consumers look to buy Nissan online, Nissan has streamlined the process. Buy your new Nissan EV online and then get the new Wallbox charger as well and you’re all set.
