Genesis is looking forward to the future, which could involve a number of excellent electric vehicles that will be perfect for us to drive.
With that in mind, Genesis arrived at the New York Auto Show with a new model that could inspire much of the electric driving models we’ll see in the future. This new vehicle is called the Genesis Mint Concept, and it was colored appropriately for the name to give us a car that might be part of the future.
An Interesting Shape
The new Mint Concept has a shape that we could certainly admire and see on the roads in the future. This car is a two-seat model that has a hatchback build that’s been elongated. The low and sleek appearance gives you the idea that a roadster and hatchback have been combined to create a new model. There’s a small parcel shelf under the hatch for occasional use, but a large area behind the seats for the daily items you might need to take with you when you take this car for a drive, making this a car that could be useful every day.
Designed the Right Way
The front end of the new Mint Concept is short, and it doesn’t need to be long at all. This little car uses the three-box design that extends into the corners and makes it easy to see how this could be a car that would offer us a futuristic drive and the qualities you’re looking for. The cabin area shows up with a minimalistic appearance where most of the items and information you need are presented to you on a screen that will make it possible for you to have everything you need to know.
Plenty of Driving Range
While we know this new Genesis is a concept model and it won’t make its way to the production line for a while, this is a car that is said to have a battery-electric powertrain that can give you up to 200 miles of driving range, it’s still a long way from being part of what we see in the market. Even so, the fact that Genesis is looking forward to the future and has an idea of an exciting and alluring sports car that could use battery power is impressive.
Meant for the City and for Our Adoration
The idea for the Genesis Mint Concept is for it to be a city car that can drive around on the roads that you travel every day. This concept car was on display during the entire week of the New York Auto Show for everyone to admire and enjoy. Whether or not the Mint will become a production car or simply inspire the future of production models is still to be seen. Either way, this new Genesis concept model is a car that we can admire and enjoy with thoughts for the future.
