Porsche Brabus: A Masterful Fusion of Power and Elegance

It might seem impossible to mess with perfection or to build on it, but the Porsche Brabus proves that wrong. This incredible car will blow your mind.

It is not unheard of to find electric high-performance supercars with more than 1,000 horsepower and incredible torque numbers, but not gas-powered machines. Of course, that’s before we consider this high-tuned Porsche that delivers amazing power and performance. When it comes to sports car stardom, the Porsche 911 reigns supreme. The Brabus model is a high-powered, exclusive version that reaches supercar levels of performance and power.

Where have we heard the Brabus name?

Brabus is a tuning company that’s primarily used by Mercedes-Benz. It might seem odd that they now have a relationship with Porsche, considering it’s a rival company, but that’s now the case. Traditionally, we’ve heard the name associated with luxury SUVs and sedans from the Mercedes-Benz brand. Many of these models appear with incredible performance upgrades, typically applied to the AMG models. This new Porsche brings much more power than you’d expect to find on any model wearing the 911 moniker. Let’s take a look at what this incredible car brings to the market.

What is the Porsche Brabus 900 Rocket R?

Before we get into the details, let’s talk about exclusivity. This high-tuned Porsche 911 is only offered in 25 examples, making it one of the most exclusive Porsche cars in the entire world.

The first thing this German tuning company did was change the exterior of the 911 Turbo S Coupe. This could seem a little sacrilegious, but the goal is to create a Porsche sports car that’s more aggressive than the traditional models. The Widestar body kit achieves this goal with lightweight carbon fiber parts that add a much more dramatic appearance to this amazing car. This kit also improves the aerodynamics of this amazing machine.
The front end features an improved bumper with a more aggressive splitter and larger intakes to feed more air into the radiators. A new set of wheel arches funnel hot air from the brakes to keep them cooler while driving at high speeds. These wheel arches are made of carbon fiber and Kevlar.

Moving to the rear, the quarter panels have air curtains behind the doors, and a new distinct rear bumper has been added to this car. Of course, you might not spend too much time looking at the bumper when you notice the impressive ducktail spoiler that replaces the retractable model found on the standard version of the Turbo S Coupe.

Wheels to seal the deal

The final tidbit of exterior upgrades to the Porsche Brabus is a new set of wheels. The front features 21-inch models, while the rear features 22-inch shoes. These forged wheels have a five-spoke design and a set of carbon fiber aero discs to improve performance and aerodynamics. These impressive wheels finish the exterior upgrades and give this car the right setting for some amazing track speed and lap times.

Did Brabus improve the cabin area?

Although much more subtle than the exterior, the tuning team put their own touches on the cabin to give this car a few upgrades. The cabin features soft-touch black leather in many areas, including the seats and door panels. This leather is quilted to give it the highest-grade look possible. You’ll also see a new Alcantara headliner and other impressive upgrades that aren’t part of the Turbo S Coupe. This car features finishing touches with several components and a Shadow Chrome glaze finish. It might not be a dramatic change, but these upgrades give this car an impressive look.

And the cherry on top

It wouldn’t make sense for Brabus to put its name on this new Porsche 911 unless the company also upgraded the car’s performance. This new model delivers 900 horsepower thanks to a new set of turbos that bump up that power. This incredible power is sent to the wheels to make this one of the fastest sports cars in the world. With the new turbos installed, this amazing Brabus Porsche hits 60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds.

In addition to the turbochargers, a new exhaust is added to complete the performance improvements made to this amazing Porsche. This new exhaust is made from lightweight Inconel which is a material used by NASA.

Only 25 models of the Porsche Brabus 900 Rocket R are available. Hopefully, most of them will be used on the track for some fun driving, but its more likely that most will sit and collect dust in a high-priced collection.
